We are a group of people who came together to create a community of resistance by reclaiming a site of unused land in Leeds. The site will be open to be used by anyone who wants to get involved. However, we have come together through some general ideas and values which we aim to integrate in this project.
We would like this to respond to the needs of the community and to be a safe place by being inclusive, self-aware, respectful and strongly rejecting any sort of discrimination. We aim to have a horizontal structure in which decisions are taken through consensus. We have gathered inspiration from other community projects, such as Grow Heathrow or Reclaim the Fields.
In the very near future we are going to require help for a mass action to start making the site a reality.
